I desperately need step by step directions on how to clean my shoes in a washing machine!?

I recently ran into a pond with my brand new Nike Air Force 1s. I could really use some help with cleaning them. I want to put them into a washing machine to get an inside and out clean, but do not know exactly how. Could you please give me detailed step by step directions on how to clean them in a washing machine?I desperately need step by step directions on how to clean my shoes in a washing machine!?
1. put the washing on a warm wash cycle

2. put some detergent like tide

3. once it's filled up enough throw your sneakers in

4. pause the wash cycle and let it sit in the water for a while this will loosen up all the dirt and kill the smell

5. now you can either take them out and scrub them with a tooth brush rinse them and let them air dry or you can put them to wash

I would go with the toothbrush to make sure they come out ok but if you think they can hold it put it through the wash cycleI desperately need step by step directions on how to clean my shoes in a washing machine!?
First, take the shoelaces out of the shoes. Then be sure to pull the tongue of the shoe up so it will get washed also. You can spray them with a presoak spot removal cleaner and then throw them in the washer by themselves (which means that you will probably put you washing machine on low level) and add a cup of detergent. After they are washed, stuff them with newspaper so they will keep their shape while drying. Set them in a window or somewhere so they can dry and they will be ready to go after you put your laces in. To wash your laces, use bleach and a little detergent and hand wash them in the bathroom sink. If they don't come white, let them soak in the detergent and then go back and scrub them and hang them up somewhere to dry. Don't put the laces in the shoes until the shoes are all dry. Also, if the shoes are white, you can add a little bleach to the wash and that will help get them real white.
First hand scrub but not to hard you dont want to scratch the sneaker use a wash rag to wipe anything off and to help with the scrubbing

then wash it off

Then put the sneaker in a big sock it will clean the inside without the machine scratching the sneaker... If all white you can use bleach

If color just use your regular soap you use to clean clothes

No need for softener and let the sneaker air dry it will take some days but dont put then in the dry it will melt some parts of the sneaker

Follow this you should be good trust me I did it with my new $400 Jordans
I wouldn't use a washing machine to do that!!

Being underwater, detergents, and constant sniping might cause some damage. Instead, I'd use water to wash my show manually. Not dip your show in the water, but instead wash the parts that were dirty even from the inside then put your show in the sun until it's dry. This way you'll avoid unnecessary detergents or excessive exposure to warm water.

That way dirt will be washed properly and the sun will take care of the smell.

right some people have said you can't wash them in the machine but i did with mine and they came out ok what i did;

-take the laces out

-get as much dirt as you can out with a soft toothbrush (this will loosen the dirt and make them come out cleaner)

-put both shoes and laces into and old pillow case to stop them bashing around and damaging you washing machine, tie pillow case shut

-chuck em in the wash

-put them upside down on a radiator

-when they are nearly dry put them on for a few mins so they take your foot shape

-then back on the radiator to dry completely

all done!
1. Take a damp wash clothe and remove as much dirt, mud, etc. from the shoe as possible. Remove the insoles.

2. Add a gentle laundry detergent to the washing machine.

3. Fill washing machine with water. Select gentle cycle.

4. Place both shoes and insoles into the washer.

5. Start the wash cycle.

6. When finished, let the shoes and insoles air dry.
