How can i wash viscose fabric without dry cleaning?

It seems a little expensive and tedious to take one shirt to the dry cleaner. What else can i do?How can i wash viscose fabric without dry cleaning?
If it really is viscose rayon and not a high wet modulus rayon like Modal, you're quite likely to ruin the shirt by wet cleaning. Viscose has very poor wet strength and tends to shrink or sag or twist or just plain disintegrate when wet.

Viscose is ';regular rayon';.

You can wear a camisole and dress shields to help keep the skin oils off the shirt, and you can air it... but eventually, you'll have to clean it somehow... your choice of a major gamble or a trip to the dry cleaners.
