How do you know when your 'clean' clothes start to need washing?

Meaning not dirty, just worn for a lot of times. e.g t-shirt 2-3 days or pants 1 week, harder when you're wearing different jumpers during the month. Just wondering, because I normally feel that when they start feeling a bit damp and like you just wet them, when you just put them on, that's when I think you should get them washed. Not to be confused with dampness in cooler weather when body heat warms it up, after 10, 20 minutes. What do you think? How do you know when your 'clean' clothes start to need washing?
T-shirts are single day wear items, unless you wear an undershirt.

Pants maybe 2-3 days.

Sweaters (or jumpers) should be washed after you have worn them 3 or 4 days.

This is assuming that you shower every day and do not have an occupation where you have to physically exert yourself or are in a really dirty environment.

If you wear clothing longer than this, it is more difficult to get it properly cleaned. How do you know when your 'clean' clothes start to need washing?
my hubby sweats a lot, especially in the summer, so if he's home doing yard work etc...it's not uncommon for him to change his t-shirt up to 4 times/day.

Jeans, well, I would say wear them 3 times at the most before washing, assuming that you're not getting anything on them.

Most t-shirts or tops, can be wore maybe twice before washing, assuming you're not getting B.O. on them. If you sweat any at all in a t-shirt, you need to change it daily.
i agree with mawia.
