you can hand wash it in cold water with a dishwashing soap, pat dry with a towel and hang over a towel on your shower rod...whatever you do-do not put it in the dryer.Can i hand wash this if it says dry clean only (link)?
I wouldn't hand wash it. If it were a solid color I'd say go for it. Sometimes the reason items say dry clean only is because colors don't bleed when dry cleaned. Since you are working with black and white the black might run when it is wet. If you really like it I would just take it and have it dry cleaned.
it's only 14% wool, wash it my hand in woolite and hang to dry do not not not put it in the dryer it would shrink up. the other thing you could do is use in the laundry section at walmart called dryell....yes it goes in the dryer but it does not get wet. it's like drycleaning at home and is alot cheaper and you can use it more than once and refills are cheap.
